Republican Headquarters OPEN HOUSE 2024

HQ opened up the first week of August 2024! Just in time to rally the Community with buzz and excitement for the local, state and federal Republicans running for office!

We opened our doors for an Open House, with yummy appetizers (gone in minutes), wine, craft IPA’s and delicious coffee! Mr. Trump even made his way around the room, catching up with the people and posing for a photo op.

We were fortunate to have some of our candidates show up in support of our Headquarters and mingle with the people - County Commissioner Candidate (District 1) Scott Mijares - County Commissioner Candidate (District 3) Rick Dunlap - House District 58 Candidate Larry Don Suckla. It was a busy night and a great crowd. Looking forward to the next one! Hope to see you there.

Lincoln Reagan “Honoring Our Military” 2023

This year we are proud to recognize our men and women who serve our Country by dedicating this event to “Honoring Our Military”.

As proud Americans, we each feel that “American Emotion” overtake us when we pledge our allegiance and give honor to our great servicemen and women. Chills prickle over our skin when the unwavering words are sung in our National Anthem, our eyes become glossy with tears of emotion as Old Glory boldly waves her Stars and Stripes in the fierce wind, carrying the promise of Freedom to all, and the “take your breath away” moment when fighter jets scream their allegiance through the skies.

This is the “American Emotion” that makes us beam with pride, knowing it is only by the grace of God and the heroic sacrifice of our men and women that keep us FREE.

4th of July Parade 2023

Honoring our Veterans

Normandy presentation given by MHS students and teachers

We were honored to have Natalie Lopez and Tahlia Trevino, two Juniors from Montrose High School, share their presentation of two Colorado soldiers who fought during the battle of Normandy, at our May Conservative Social Hour.

They gave a eulogy of these two brave Colorado soldiers; John Derrick Halls from Mancos, CO and Homer Copeland Biggs Jr from Durango, CO. The eulogy was given in honor of these two men, who selflessly gave their lives during WWII, on D-Day. John Derek Halls and Homer Copeland Biggs Jr lay at rest beneath the lush, green grass of the Normandy American Cemetery in the northwestern area of France.

Thank you to History Teachers Leigh Nansel and Kurt Scriffiny who inspired, encouraged and supported these young ladies in this unique experience!
